This is a grassroots organization whose goal is to convince the Mets to move the original apple to Citi Field. There are mumblings that the old one needs to be replaced and is too fragile to move.

Hey, Dana!
Pooh pooh to the apple. A MAJOR pooh pooh, lol! I loved your column about Mr. Met, Meet the Mets and the Apple at FU, and your eloquence almost moved me enough to think about chaning my mind about that horrid putrid apple, but ’twas not to be! I wrote a column yesterday on the reasons why the reasons why people love the apple simply are lame and not valid, and about what I’d love to see happen to the apple *giggle* in the future. Hopefully, it’ll be published soon, maybe over the weekend, and you can REALLY flame me… lol!
