Mathematically Alive

If you recognize yourself in these pictures, at least in spirit (I know I do), you’re probably going to enjoy a new film called Mathematically Alive:  A Story of Fandom by filmmakers Katherine Foronjy and Joe Coburn.  The film, which is about what it’s like to be a Mets fan, had its premiere at the Coney Island Film Festival and it is going to be screened on November 9, 10, and 11 at the New Jersey Film Festival.  At the November 9 screening, I will be introducing the filmmakers before the showing of the film.  I will also be signing copies of my book in the lobby of the theatre beginning at 6:30 on November 9.  Keep checking my blog for my review of the film, which I hope to have up by Wednesday evening, November 7.

The screening will be held in 123 Scott Hall at 43 College Avenue, near the corner of College Avenue and Hamilton Street at the College Avenue Campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

So, if you can still stand to think about what it means to be a Mets fan, please come on down and see and support the film.  And please stop by and say hello.
