I've often wondered, myself, what the numbers really mean, and what affect, if any, the blogs have on the entire Mets fan experience. I think it would be fascinating to delve into this stuff more closely, and I'm with ya if you're going to do it. I'm not sure I've seen much research on sports blogs, and yours could be an inaugural effort of some sort. Get a few of the more astute computer science/ statistics guys to rummage around this thing, and voila.... something that I'm sure would be a read of interest to many. I'm also with you on the take what you get attitude when it comes to this team. I'm still excited as a child on Christmas morning anticipating every game, and I still don't like to find coal in my stocking, but I'm right back there, next Christmas, looking for the pot of gold...lol.
