About Mets Fan Blog
Dana Brand is a Professor of English and American Literature at Hofstra University. He’s been a diehard Mets fan since the Mets came into existence when he was seven years old. Brand has written a book called Mets Fan about what it’s really like to be a Mets fan for so many years and his new book, The Last Days of Shea, will be out later this summer. Dana is also co-chairing a conference that will be held at Hofstra University to commemorate Fifty Years of the New York Mets.
